Team Training
Teammates: Scott, Rich, Chris, and Rob
Zenn Racing Team held its third and final Winter training camp. Saturday began with joining the Coffee Republic ride that starts out of Folsom. Rich Mader took an early lead off the pack, but was unable to hold his lead past highway 80. Scott Fonseca and Chris Ott took control of pace setting and launched off the front of the pack to finish the climb over Ridge Rd. before most of the group. At the regroup point on Indian Hill Rd., Zenn Racing Team departed from the Coffee Republic ride to head through the canyon and around Folsom lake to finish back at Scott's house. Sunday was a shorter ride at a more relaxed pace seeing Rob Cady join the group even with an elbow injury that limited his climbing ability.
Overall, the weekend contained good rides that pushed the team, and there was plenty of time to joke around and have some fun on Scott's new Playstation 3.
Stay tuned for next month, as the 2010 NCNCA season begins. Look for great standings to come out of the hard training that the team has been committed to.
