Chris was born in the Bay Area and grew up in Pleasanton, CA. He started racing bicycles in 1985 and raced through 1993 as a Professional. Chris retired from cycling in 1993 due to injuries. He owned a bicycle retail chain for several years and has worked in marketing and media for more than 10 years. After 13 years without riding a bicycle, Chris returned to competitive cycling in 2009 where he won 2 races along with numerous top 10 placings, and competed in the National Road Race Championships. Chris is motivated for 2010 and focused on the State, National, and World Road Race Championships in Austria. Chris resides in San Jose with his wife Minnie and daughter Carissa who are the support and loves of his life.
